Bachelors of Information Technology
This programme provides an avenue to those already engaged in the IT-sector without formal degree qualifications in IT to join the BITE Degree Programme through either direct or diploma schemes. It provides firm foundation in avenues related to computer networks, data management, systems and mobile application development among others. Bachelor of Information Technology Degree Programme is open to all prospective students and designed to enable its prospective students to undertake training in Information Technology (IT).

Programme Objectives
The majority will take up administrative positions in Information and Communication Technology (computing and ICT-based) sectors, and other positions such as Software Developers, Web-Programmers, Systems & Network Administrators, Information Technology Planners, Systems Analysts, IT Project Managers, Information Systems Specialists and IT Lecturers.Direct Entry: A candidate must have five (5) passes at O'Level or its equivalent and 2 principal passes at A'Level obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent
Mature Age Entry: Applicants shall sit for Mature Age Entry scheme examination of those insititutions Mandated by NHCE to conduct those exams.(Makerere University, Kyambogo,IUIU and Gulu University).
Diploma Holders: A candidate shall be admitted to the program if she/he has a relevant diploma award from a recognized institution of higher learning.
